Our sustainable laptop pouch was one of the products which took the longest to develop. We knew how we wanted it to look, but it was important that it was practical in protecting your devices, but also made use of much more sustainable materials. In short, we wanted to steer well clear of the polyester wadding which is so commonly used.
When we came across the organic bamboo wadding it was a no brainer. It offers just the right amount of padding to offer protection, without it resulting in anything too bulky. Bamboo is a super sustainable material, requiring less water to grow than other natural fibres, and the one we use is 100% organic so no nasty chemicals have gone into growing it either.
The rest of the laptop pouch is made from the same organic cotton canvas and recycled cotton lining that we use in the rest of our products, so they coordinate with an Everyday Bag or Shopper perfectly, and our 13"/14" versions fit comfortably in the build in laptop compartments in these bags.
To make a laptop pouch that was not only sustainable, but practical too you know there had to be a pocket! The front pocket is super handy for sliding in an external hard drive or USB cables.
